Background
Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEi) is the world’s largest fully integrated defence and security exhibition. DSEi provides a time-effective opportunity to meet the whole defence and security supply chain and showcase your company’s full capabilities to key decision makers from the global defence and security community.
DSEi provides face to face opportunities to share ideas, discuss industry developments, conduct business and network for future growth, bringing together senior international trade and military experts from across the entire supply chain in an optimal business environment.
What’s new for 2011:
An Opportunity to Showcase Your New Product
The 'DSEi Challenge' provides an opportunity to present a new product at DSEi in front of a Defence/Security industry and end user audience. So even if your product is only an idea or at the first stage of a prototype, this could provide a good promotional opportunity. What is important is that you have a product in planning that could make a difference in defence and security. The criterion for entry is that the product submitted must not already be in production.
You will only need to provide a brief (max 250 word) description of your new concept/product to be considered for selection. The application form can be accessed by clicking here and the deadline for entries is Friday, 12th August.
All completed forms will be forwarded to a panel of judges and a shortlist of six will be asked to present for 10 minutes on Thursday, 15th September, 3pm on the stage at DSEi. The judges will then present the DSEi Innovation Award 2011 to the product they think will make the biggest difference to the industry.
The winners will be awarded the accolade of 'DSEi Innovation 2011' and receive £500 in cash and a free stand at DSEi 2013.
