Safe Cities Track at Frost & Sullivan's GIL 2011 Event

Tuesday, 17 May 2011 at 08:00AM to Wednesday, 18 May 2011 at 05:00PM

Venue: Emirates Stadium, London.

Background

Safer Cities will be one of the key industry perspectives explored during this year's Frost & Sullivan flagship client event, GIL 2011: Europe - The Global Community of Growth, Innovation and Leadership, which will be held at the Emirates Stadium on 17-18 May 2011.

Thought leaders across all sectors (including information and building technologies, defence and security), city planners and key decision makers from law enforcement agencies will be engaged in sharing and inspiring one another with new ideas and visionary perspectives. For the first time ever, all key stakeholders will meet and discuss the importance of integrated systems, intelligent solutions and increased cross-agency collaboration to reduce response time and costs and increase security levels.

The Safe Cities track at GIL Europe 2011 will aim to enable organisations to:

  • Gain a better understanding what is a Safe City, from a vendor, a city planner and end user perspective
  • What vendors/integrators, from different industries (i.e. IT, Building Technologies, Defence, Security)
  • What are the business challenges and opportunities
  • What vendors/ integrators can/need to do in order to position themselves strategically in this emerging market
