Background

Systematic (SITC's French partners in the SIGNATURE Project) invite SITC members to participate in a programme of activities over 15-16 June in Paris:

• The Systematic Annual Convention on the afternoon and evening of 15 June; and
• A Security Transnational Interest Group Workshop on the morning of 16 June on the theme of Security of Critical Information Infrastructure.

This will provide SITC members with a good opportunity to meet potential Europeon partners for research or commercial collaborations with a particular focus on specific topic areas related to Critical Infrastructure Protection and the next FP7 Security Call. 

Agenda

Day 1 will provide an opportunity for SITC members to attend Systematic's Annual Convention, and take a guided tour of relevant security projects being exhibited and network over drinks with members of Systematic's Defence & Security Thematic Group as well as other international delegates from the other SIGNATURE Partners.

Day 2 will provide briefings from industry and academic perspectives on key topics related to Critical Information Infrastructure Security: Smart Grids, Resilience and Privacy by Design.  Then there will be a Brokerage Session focusing on the FP7 Security Call 5 including briefings, updates and opportunities for participants to give short (5 minute) present on their relevant project ideas and/or competencies.

For SME members of SITC attendng this event, Systematic have generously offered to arrange one night of free accommodation at the at the IBIS Hotel 177 rue de Tolbiac 75013 Paris on 15th June.

Please specify in your e-mail if you plan to attend on 15th and/or 16th June and (if you are an SME) if you would like to take advantage of the offer of fee accommodation on the 15th June.
