Background

The conference is very much a training event with classes and technical workshops that include:

  • Crime series linkage
  • Understanding organised crime groups
  • Telecomms data and analysis
  • Problem solving
  • Time series analysis
  • Geographical analysis

These will be held alongside presentations on some of the latest practice and research into the use of social media, investigative analysis, predictive crime mapping, community engagement, automation, and tackling issues such as violent crime, child sex trafficking, terrorism, gangs, social disorder, the night-time economy, burglary, and street robbery.

The conference is THE event for intelligence professionals, community safety officers, investigators, and researchers interested in intelligence-led policing, problem solving, partnership working, crime prevention, and the analysis that underpins decision making.  The conference will appeal to practitioners and academics, albeit with all content directed at practical means for improving policing and public safety.
