Venue: FIVE, Farnborough
Background
Security & Policing (formerly called HOSDB) is the UK's only secure event for police, law enforcement and security professionals tasked with security, civil protection and National Resilience.
With a 30 year history and a global influence, this exhibition brings together international professionals and experts from government, law enforcement, police service, CNI and industry in a crucible of shared knowledge and experience.
As part of Security & Policing 2012 senior government and security officials will be running a series of one hour briefings and workshops on key areas of government planning and programmes. These free-to-attend sessions are open to all visitors and exhibitors at the event.
Security & Policing 2012 maintains a strict criteria for visitors as set out by the Home Office. The result of this is a unique exhibition in which all visitors must be employees or agents of the police service throughout the UK and overseas, government security and law enforcement organisations, Home Office, prison service, fire service, military, customs and immigration services or key providers of critical national infrastructure and their security managers for the UK.
Due to the secure nature of the event, trade visitors and consultants/agents are not eligible to attend. Agents from overseas may apply but can only attend with prior Home Office approval.
With over 400 companies attending showcasing world leading technologies, products and solutions to more than 570 police services, government departments, organisations and agencies from the UK and overseas, Security & Policing 2012 gives your company a platform to show the global policing and security community your equipment and capability. The event is attended by Home Office agreement only, giving visitors the confidence to discuss operational requirements with exhibitors who can demonstrate more sensitive equipment in confidence.
Further details including options and costs for exhibiting can be found in the document attached below. If you want to talk to ADS directly about Exhibiting at the event please contact Carolyn or Chris on the details below:
SITC Innovation Pavilion
At the HOSDB 2011 show, SITC had an Innovation Pavilion for members with security technology at TRL 5 - 8. The stand was funded by SITC, with a small contribution from the members exhibiting. There was a large amount of interest from the delegates at the show, owing to the ‘cutting edge' nature of the technology in the pavilion. Those attended reported very high levels of interest in their capability.
SITC has been offered a similar facility for the 2012 show and we have been negotiating to obtain a favourable rate for SITC members.
The outcome of this is that SITC members will be able to get a 2 sq metre booth within the SITC Innovation Pavilion for a cost £800 + VAT for the three days of the show. Exhibitors will have to provide their own banners, literature etc. Each exhibitor would get two entry badges and an entry in an addendum to the show catalogue.
Whilst we would prefer to have early stage technologies within the pavilion, this is not an absolute requirement in order to participate.
Please confirm with Steve Swain by email as soon as possible, and no later than 12 December, if you would like to reserve a place for your company in the SITC Innovation Pavilion this year on the terms indicated above.
Please contact us if you require further information.
