Background

The coming months will undoubtedly represent a critical period for decision makers within the UK as they outline their plans on how to address cyber security challenges in the period ahead. This major two-day event, taking place on 15-16 November 2011, will therefore provide timely analysis on the release of the UK's new Cyber Security Strategy and the FCO's International Cyber Security Summit scheduled for the beginning of November.

Bringing together senior figures from government, the private sector, academia, the military, the police and other key international organisations, this year's RUSI Cyber Security conference will facilitate high level discussions on the national security implications of an evolving cyber landscape, as well as the technologies, policies and levels of political will necessary to protect ourselves against such threats in the future.
