Background

The European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) and European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) are holding a workshop on e-signatures standardisation that will be held on 21st November 2011 in Paris.

Programme

The workshop will:

• Present the draft Rationalised Framework for European electronic signatures standards, its objectives and initial associated work plan;
• Discuss users expectations and future perspectives on standardisation of electronic signatures.

This workshop will provide an opportunity for discuss this work with the initiators of the project and organizations involved in the standardisation activities.

Stakeholders are invited to participate in order to achieve the best outcome of the work and the widest possible share of views amongst all parties concerned.
