SITC Cyber Security Briefing and Networking Dinner

Background

SITC and ADS Members and other professionals with interests in security innovation and technology are invited to attend SITC's Winter Networking Dinner to be held on Thursday 1st December at the Shrivenham Defence Academy (near Swindon). These regular Networking Dinners are intended to provide informal networking opportunities for selected professionals with interests in security to meet socially and exchange information.

SITC's Winter Networking Dinner this year will be preceded by a briefing on current developments and opportunities in Cyber Security.

We are delighted to have representatives of key government organisations to brief on this important topic.

Please note: guests holding SC clearance may also be interested in attending Dstl's Counter Terrorism Science and Technology Industry Day which is being held at the Defence Academy on the same day, but need to register by 17 November.

Booking and Accommodation

We regret that, with the loss of SEEDA funding, we can no longer offer our Networking Dinners free of charge and have had to set a ticket price of £50 to cover the costs of the event.

Bookings and payment can be made on line by credit card at: http://sitcwinterdinner2011.eventbrite.co.uk

As in previous years, we are able to offer guests B&B accommodation in the officers' mess at a very economical rate.  However, places are limited, so early booking is advised.   We can also provide details of other local accommodation, as required.

If you wish to reserve B&B accommodation on-site after the event, please indicate on the online registration form.   This will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis and must be paid for on the evening of arrival.
