Background:
SITC members are invited to participate in the Paris Regional Innovation Tour 2009 event (PRIT 2009) by System@tic: the Paris-based ICT and Complex Systems cluster organisation, along with six other Paris-based high-technology industry clusters.
Members of international clusters (including SITC) are able to register at the event and for free and are offered free hotel accommodation as guests of the Paris Clusters (see below).
System@tic has a Security and Defence Thematic Group and is one of a number of European industry clusters with Security interests which SITC has been developing relationships with over the last 18 months. A number of SITC Members attended last year's event and showcased their capabilities to System@tic members.
Now in its fifth year, PRIT is a major annual gathering of European industry cluster initiatives, hosted by the seven 'world class' clusters based in the Paris Region. It attracts over 1,000 delegates from around 50 European cluster organisations to participate in the conference, workshops, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
Its 'Innovation Factory' themes this years are:
System@tic will lead the topic workshop and seek to initiate new collaborative projects in the area of NICT and Systems during PRIT 2009 and they are holding a separate 'Project Incubator Workshop' on the following day (1 December) which SITC Members are invited to attend which aims to build international consortia to bid for Eurostars funding (see separate event details on 1 Dec).

SITC Members are eligible for the 'Guest of Honor' programme which Includes free entrance (normally 750 Euros), complementaty meals during the event and free lodging.
