Background:

All SITC Members are invited to participate in SITC's second AGM.

All 'lead contacts' of SITC Member organisations are eligible to vote on the nomination of directors and are encouraged to submit their votes by proxy if they are unable to attend the AGM and vote in person (see below). 

Details of the process required will be emailed to all 'lead contacts' along with the official Notice of this AGM and these details will also be attached below in the next few days.

SITC Directors Retiring and Seeking Re-Election

Prior to the AGM a third of SITC's Board Members are obliged to retire and (if they wish) put themselves up for re-election.  The following serving SITC Board Member will be putting themselves forward for re-election at this year's AGM:

• Keith Weston

Additional Candidates Standing for Election to the SITC Board

The following candidates have put themselves forward to stand for election to the SITC Board at the AGM:

So there are now a total of 12 candidates standing for the 6 available seats on the SITC Board.

Voting Rights of SITC Members and Further information

As members of a company limited by guarantee, SITC members (lead contacts or a nominated proxy for each member) will have the right to vote on resolutions tabled at the AGM including the election of SITC Board Members.

The attached document provides: the formal Notice of the AGM, the Ordinary Resolution, the Proxy Vote Form and Explanatory Notes on the process for re-election/appointment of SITC directors.  This document has also been emailed to SITC Members lead contacts.
