Background
UCL's fourth International Crime Science Conference brings together senior security and crime reduction practitioners, policy-makers, technologists, and leading academics, all developing the latest techniques, technologies and strategies for increasing security and reducing crime. This conference offers a packed programme of academic research, scientific methodologies and real-world experience.
This year the conference's key theme is 'Driving Science into Policy'. Plenary sessions will explore the effectiveness or otherwise of current methods by which new research ideas are translated into the public sector apparatus.
Topics for this year include: Cybersecurity, Human Trafficking, Nanotechnology and Security, Criminal Justice Databases, Forensics and Terrorism, Personnel Detection and Psychology and Crime.
