Paul Osborne began a full-time secondment from Cranfield University to SITC in September 2009. Previously he had worked as the Security Sector Manager for Cranfield University based on the Defence Academy site at Shrivenham, Oxfordshire.

This work has helped to build the industry support necessary to bid for and win SEEDA’s backing for the new Security Innovation and Technology Consortium (SITC). Paul serves as Company Secretary to SITC.
Before coming to Cranfield, Paul worked for four years as a lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the School of Management at the University of Bath and for six years in Inward Investment, Research and Strategy roles in the South West of England Regional Development Agency, where he worked closely with many high technology companies and leading universities in developing inward investment promotional strategies and supporting technology-related projects and initiatives.
